doesn't really mater in the eyes of the law does it...............Turbo329 said:Yates didn't even hit the guy hard. They were frustration taps. no punches were thrown and the drop kick barely landed.
Funny this is Yates was really at fault here. I saw the whole thing and watched it back several times. And what Yates did later was uncalled for. Not to mention watching him jump around like a little sissy. I hope he gets sued and suspended for a race or so.R1Rider96 said:Yates should not have reacted that way and Fania should not have came across with the bring it on motions/attitude/comments. AMA should fine Yates and suspend him from a couple of superbike races. This whole pressing charges/civil suit crap from Fania will most likely wind up being a waste of everyone's time and money. It's racing, people get emotional and stuff happens. Just my .02 on the matter.
I disagree buddy! Yates is in the wrong PERIOD!! Just like skiing/snowboarding. The person downhill has the right of way. Yates should have waited til after the turn to pass, rather than trying to stuff Fania, (as all pro riders do to backmarkers.)shmacky said:To heck with the what if's. Yates is my boy and i agree what he afterwards was wrong (funny as hell though now that everybody walked away). But i do believe it wasn't his fault , the other guy looked like he was putzing around the track And didn't maintain his line. So fine him for the attempted donkey kick and suspend him for a race...and look into fining the other guy for what looks to me to be utter brain fade. After all he could have broke yates's neck or compressed a vertebre.
actually fania was a lap down and if you watch the video, fania had the inside line (look at the pavement) and once yates started to pass on the outside fania tried blocking him but was way too late and just took his ass out, anyone who thinks that the crash was yate's fault is a moron and shouldn't be riding a streetbike.r1-superstar said:I disagree buddy!
