I've never used stabilizers in my bikes. When I store them for the winter, I just fill the gas tank to the top and that's it. Come spring time I never had an issue with starting the bike because the fuel went bad and my bikes are stored for 7 months. So at the end of the day its a personal preference. But to be honest with you I think its all a gimmick these stabilizers.

 

Oh my! 7 months with no R1 riding-How do you cope? I just finished my move from Florida to NC, and with all the moving and getting settled in it's been almost 3 weeks since I've ridden any of my bikes and it's killing me! I'll be getting my fix this weekend though😁🏍 (BTW, I owned a 2002 R6 too--great bike!)

 

 

Seeing that video I assumed that fuel stabilizer doesn't to anything...
So probably I am going to try keeping my tank has full as possible when the bike is stoped at the garage, and try to go on a ride at least 1 time every month!
