I just got my graves pipes about 2 weeks ago and my buddy received his just about the same time. I was installing his pipes and noticed a few differences between mine and his although they are supposed to be the same.

First difference I saw was the color of the outline on the Graves logo stuck to the side of the carbon fiber silencers. Mine are black outlined and his are blue, not a biggie but this triggered me to look a little closer.

My pipes are wide open if looking down the back of the silencers, I can litlerly drop a tennis ball down the pipes, while his look to have a insert which closes the opening slightly. My pipes are noticable deeper and louder and his nearly sound stock no joke.

I called Graves to find out what was going on and Taige had told me I had first generation pipes and that I had gotten very lucky to have received these verses the second generation like my buddies. I was told mine would produce more power and better sound and these first gen are what are used on the Graves race bikes.

Can anyone elaberate a little, dont know if I was just being told this to keep me at bay.
