Might not last forever, bt noce protection I suppose if it has a little bit of thickness it could perhaps DAMPEN a stone. I have a few very small hirline fracutres in my light, I'm not sure it would protect though, look good mabey.

About Headlight Protection Film Kits

croc1 said:
anybody know if this would replace putting tape on the headlights for track days ??
This is the same stuff used on many of the new track racing cars.
I actually sponcer the ESXMotorsports.com 810HP 9.44 1/4 Mile
SUBARU WRX Drag car and it used these kits on the headlights.

The yellow, smoke and blue kits are made from 17 Mil protection film.

These films have been tested to withstand impacts of 1" rocks of up to 100 MPH

Every one that I have put these kits on loves it. Installaion is easy and we will provide a free squeegee with every order. For installation instructions go to

Yellow Is my Favorite Color

I do not have a picture of the headlight kit on the silver
But I have done many silver cars and Yellow & Smoke are my favorites.

The yellow one looks more sporty and the smoke looks more stealth.

I would go with the yellow kit on both the silver and blue R1's . It looks mean and it doesn't cut your light output down like the smoke.

How to Install these kits

On the Blue R1 2003 do u need to remove the headlight to install it or u could apply it as is without removing the headlight !!
And do u ship to Monreal, Canada as well ???

thx
Installation for R1 headlights are pretty easy. This stuff is pretty flexible so it allows for some mistakes.

The clear bra paint protection kits are some what more unforgiving.

You can view installation instructions at
