I made my own tag mount and put my turnsignals on the side of my tail.

 

I have been thinking about getting a new undertail for my bike. I just don't really want to mess it up by drilling holes in it for the license plate. I was actually thinking about making a bracket of some sort that would hold the plate on the hugger. Anyone do this?

Something like this. The plate location is in RED

 

It would bottom when the shock compresses & scratch everything up if not push the fender down into the rear wheel.
