My Missus gets pissed every time I tell her I have to put the accessory value up on the insurance :lol
:hammer:

i quit worrying about the cost of mods a while ago... and i've been trying to educate even my old man on this.... thats the name of the game...
being a biker is not a welfare sport.. and if you're into performance... bahahahhaha... just you wait... things are gonna get interesting... :corn :fork

Do yourself a favor and don't add them up... :yesnod :cryin
:fact
my CC does this automatically, it pops up everytime i pay my bills, i never look over the details, 'cause i already know what it means..
nothing good can come from adding it all up :lol :no

I just list the mods as I fit them... Not even I want to know the $ value. :scared
dude, y'all know how things are for us Canadians as well.. last few years i've been living the dream... i try not to
think things in terms of $ going out... its always about how good i feel every time a throw a leg over my baby!!

and she loves me for it, so its good... its a win win!

There are two phrases the serial modifier must avoid....

How much have you spent?...and when will it be finished?

Yamaha designed the exhuast, airbox and various sound carrying channels into the cabin on the LFA. To tune the noise for the drivers pleasure. :thumbup
thanks for this Benzo!! as a musician, you made my day!! :bow

The powerplant gives the LFA a weight-to-power ratio of 5.9 lb/hp and enables it to reach a top speed of around 325 km/h (202 mph)

Yamaha co-developed not only the engine cylinder heads but also the entire engine. The engine exceeds Euro V emissions :secret:

The Lexus LFA is powered by a 10-cylinder engine that was co-developed by Yamaha Motor and has an even firing interval. Only physical acoustic methods were utilized to give the driver a direct sensation of this engine’s characteristics. There is no electrical or electronic sound processing. As a result, sounds that reach the driver are clear, dynamic, and smooth.

The acoustic designing concept

The objective of this acoustic design was to utilize sound as a medium that can achieve a direct link between the driver and the vehicle.
To accomplish this goal, Yamaha and Yamaha Motor decided to base the design on the following two goals.

Create an engine sound that reacts instantly to even delicate alterations by the driver in the vehicle’s operation.
Effectively convey all of the high-grade engine sound to the driver.

This approach was based on Yamaha’s expertise in creating relationships between performers and musical instruments to give the performers the full enjoyment of playing an instrument.

When playing a musical instrument, performers hear the delicate changes in volume, tone, and nuances that they produce themselves. Hearing these subtle changes allows performers to make instant revisions as they play the instrument. For these performers, access to high-quality audio feedback is vital to achieving the best possible performance. In this case, sensing the direct feedback of the musical instrument is what provides the performers with the enjoyment of playing an instrument.

there's probably 5 of these already trolling our local streets... damn the rich & famous.!! :hammer:

This is how I reset mine. I gas up, then start the bike. Hold the button until it counts down: 5...4...3...2...1... KEEP PRESSING FOR 5 MORE SECONDS... You'll see the fuel mileage counter reset at that point fellas. :thumbup
thats a long wait just to reset your damn mileage counter, juss sayin' :fingr:
