the 2x2 twill from moto is a bit more aggressive imo and i like it a bit more than 1x1 if its in a open view area. it catches the light a bit better i think

heres what the 2x2 twill weave looks and you can compare to the 1x1 in his original and see which one you like...

They sell every part in carbon for the 07-08 R1, pretty sweet!

Yeah i was going to go with crown, a little cheaper too but i read so many bad things about them recently. I decided to just go with someone else, i'm glad you got some good pieces

+1 on tekcarbon pieces everything i got from them so far has been great fit and finish..the ram airs i got from them took alittle fabrication to get to fit right..but i think that goes for any rams..

Yeah they actually have just about every CF part for the R1 07-08. Installed the CF tank cowl today, didn't realize i had to take the actual tank cover off to get the tank fairing off lol. Anyways i'll post up some pics tomorrow, overall really happy with the fitment and finish. No CF horror story here (thank god)

Here are a couple shots of the new CF parts on the bike, in my garage at night, so its not that great. On top of that, i never wiped the pieces down after installation. I'll get some good shots tomorrow in the sun, but just so you can see fitment and get an idea. Next I'm getting the front wheel fairing, throwing around the idea of the rear hugger with chain guard (bolt is located behind my rearsets, which i don't really want to mess with) Anyways here you guys go.
