Damn man - I hate reading these posts.

Round up all thieves and turn them into fertilizer so they are still somewhat useful :boom :boom

Usual advice - watch ebay and cycletrader...

Damn, I always say that if someone steals my bike , car or breaks into my home ; it would force me to become a crooked cop. I've contemplated plans on how to plant trafficking weight cocaine or heroine on people at little or no cost. But for sure if someone jacked my sheot , I would ruin their life

Go get you some CI's and find out who's jacking bikes in your area. Then browbeat the hell out of them for friggin jaywalkin or littering till you find your mark. Then start pickin him up for anything............purple shoes on thursday.

I encase my bikes tires in cement when I return home. This way they would have to steal the whole house. lol

If a thief wants something there is nothing you can do to stop him/her.
Some things can reduce the risk but if they want it, they will get it.
Carry theft insurance and take rational precautions. Dont let your life be ruined by them. O yeah, you see one stealing, kick him in the balls as hard as possible.

If it was my bike and I had a police officers resources the guy that stole it would be dragged to his death behind it on a lonely deserted road. :boom

I have a similar technique for diverting thieves. What I do is I jamm a screw driver into the rails on the garage door to prevent it from opening. I then lock the handlebars on the bike and cover it up with dirty ol' sheets. After that, I attach a thick chain to the front wheel and lock the chain around a support beam in the garage. Yes, I'm extremely paranoid.

You really can't stop a thief from trying to steal your bike. The best thing to do is to make it such a pain to steal the bike (as well as time consuming) that the thief will eventually lose his patience and just leave the scene of the crime.

When owning a sportbike, a person becomes two things...a meteorologist and a paranoid freak. When I'm not checking the weather report, I'm looking out the window for potential predators. With two already lost to thieves, I've become borderline OCD with this new bike. I'm definitely going to lose my hair.

Man, where's a cop when ya need one. :D

Sorry bro, couldn't resist that one. Hope you find the scumbag and put him out of commission.

So far we have a cop who's bike was stolen. That same cop threatening to shot someone with his .40 cal. And another cop saying he's going to plant evidence regarding trafficking weight for narcotics.

No wonder cops do not get the respect they deserve. Welcome to the real world that us civilians live in.. I'd sure hate to be stopped by either of you guys on a bad day. It shows you let the stresses of you personal life effect how you treat people you might encounter on the street..

And yes, I do not like cops...

That is all

p.s.
I hope you get your bike back :)
