just get rid your stock muffler, and ride your bike without muffler...your exhaust just header and y pipe only....

i guarantee thats THE MOST LOUD EXHAUST in your town....
please let me know the result....

i will buy an Akra...thats the deepest sound , not loudest, but deepest....

And while you're at it, pick up some valves to replace the ones you burn out..

Pretty sure that's an old-wives tale.

I've run numerous vehicles with open headers with nary a problem.

I do not believe that 2 brothers makes a full system exhaust. You have to buy a slip on and find an header and mount it up.

I stand corrected, must have been some other header like you said. But it sure sounded great.
I saw the new full system for the 06 r6, I thought they would have followed suit with the R1

Guys in the states are going to want to rethink the whole loud pipe deal. Congress is working on a bill that will pretty much ban loud pipes. Harley has already stopped with Screaming Eagle. Once the dealers are sold out that's it.

EPA has gotten involved since a lot more people have been wanting to be "the loudest". Oh and it's not going to be a petty little fine either when you're caught.

hmmm maybe next 10 years...here indonesia will be there a regulation like that.....
so, theres still many time here to enjoy loudest pipe....no regulation here....very very loud or no muffler is welcome here ....

khabar baik.. u from indon ya? i used to have one GSXR1000k5, with Racefit slash pipe on it, was wayyyyyyyy too loud.. is like MOTOGP bike in town.. i just wanna something like superbike sound, arrow is of my target, or GYT-R.. how about M4? anybody using M4 pipe? how was it?

hhmm gsx with racefit slash cut....thats will be very loud and good sound i think...but too loud is annoying right???

yeah...from your choice, i still prefer ARROW...thats good quality exhaust, deep sound too, but not very loud..and many race team use Arrow, thats the guarantee good exhaust....i think almost same with akra's sound, i never hear GYTR or M4....
