Mirage Slip-on vs. Micron Slip-on: Is the $249 Price with Rapack Kit a Good Deal?

Does anyone know anything about Mirage slip-ons. I was looking at one and they said it would be $249 but they would give me a free rapack kit good for 3 seasons. Is this a good prick or would I be better off staying my my micron slip-on. Thanks for your help

Personally I would stick with Micron...they have better quality cans and you can repack them as well.:yesnod

I have one but recently changed to a full BDE Hindle system so so I could tune my bike. I liked the MCM Mirage a lot. Igot a lot of compliments about it. The only thing is it did backfire a lot. I would say that if I had the PCIIIr I probably could have tuned it so it wouldn't backfire as much.

well I have a 2000 and I was going to jet it too if I get this pipe. Would that help the backfireing if I did this or would I be ok if I just put the pipe on and tuned it a little
thanks for the help:D
I have a mirage slip on and i like it a lot. It depends on what you're looking for though. If you're really concerned about adding a lot more power or pumping up the midrange I would stick with the micron. I'm not sure how to tune out the back firing on a carbureted bike, but it can probably be done. You'll be happy with the looks and get a lot of compliments and save a little weight with the mirage. The sound is great, it looks great and it's held up well for me. So pick your priorities and go from there. I'm trying to get dyno numbers through the forum for the mirage and if I can't I'll get my bike dynoed and post the numbers. Hope that helps.:hellobye
