Thanks. Yeah i will be riding on the street but i will be smart about it.. I mean a lot of harleys out there have really loud exhausts so im not to worried.

Haha thanks man... well my friend who did it followed me home last night and he said when im just cruising on the highway its not to bad. but when i hit on it a bit its ridiculous. Its much louder idle too. I got home around 1030 last night so i walked it from 2 streets over cause im such a nice guy :lol

I hope you have a good helmet though, or else your ears are gonna hate you. I know first hand, my sled has a pipe and aftermarket muffler on it (its basically a glasspack) and it is rediculously loud. Its awsome when your hot rodding around but if you spend all day on the thing itll start to give you a good headache.

Interesting.....are you going to do anything with the undertail? I always thought that the 04-08's looked odd without cans under the tail, leaving the two big "indents" where they go.

I dont believe that. I already feel it more peppier and im not just saying that. If you get a good tuner who can make a map then it will happen. That doesnt make any sense.. there is absolutely no restrictions on this thing.. how could it drop in power?

Im No Pro, Or custom tuner.. So Im thinkin the same way as you right now..

I rode around with no mufflers or cat. Basically just let the akrapovic y-pipe dump out under the tail. It was very cool for about the first 5 minutes lol. Then it was just loud as piss. You got a nice looking set up though.

 

thanks for the comments guys. Im sure it will get annoying to me now and then but ill deal with it. From here i will be buying the $800 graves header, k&n air filter, smog block offs, and a pc3. Then i will be getting it tuned. Cant wait to see the numbers.

I wear ear plugs on almost every ride and I don't have a problem hearing cars, it just mutes everything but you can still hear. If anyone values their hearing they would do the same.

I will take some pics of it tomorrow cause its pouring out right now. And like i said above i need to ride more. I only got 10 min with them last night on the ride home.

No one supplies that. its custom. My buddy did everything. welding and all. even cut the plastic a bit on the inside u cant see from these pics.

ok you want the bad news. NO one will be able to tune it and get you power. the power will probably be down from stock. just a note from when we have tried to tune the boz exhaust when we were at the shop. there is no back pressure so it drops power and the air fuel ratio will be all over the place.

thanks. I've had loud cars b4. Im very respectful about it. Usually ill coast in with the clutch in and shut it off right when i get to my driveway. And if they say anything ill just let them know how their stupid dogs wake me up every morning.
