Finally, the RR has arrived, typically it started pissing down as they arrived. Now the sun is out.

Still, some initial pics:

nice bike.... What is that circle above the swing arm? Looks almost like an inspection sticker.

Tax disc ! Here in the UK, we have to buy road tax for each individual vehicle thats kept and/or driven on a public road. The tax disc must be displyed !!

Awesome bike, I'd consider buying one myself..... its just the front, why are the lights not symmetrical ???

Thats friggin hot. I've wanted one since I've read all the reviews. The ugly green one cus' I don't think I'm ever gonna' be a Kawasaki guy. Those are the best views of one I've seen yet. Is that what version and is it stock?

Cheers guys :)

Can't give any ride impressions yet as I can't ride it til Monday, when the tax & registration kicks in :(

I did post a review of the test ride a while ago though...

The tax disc holder has been replaced by my Titanium one and looks a lot better, not shiny like the one on the pics.

As for the number plate... it's as small as is legally allowed in the UK, 6x6". My Gixxer has a 2x5" plate which looks great but attracts too much unwanted attention. I'd like to avoid any... imperial entanglements ;)

The pipe is the BMW optional Akra, as are the rearsets, levers etc. It's pretty well specced with carbon bits, but still missing the dark screen, carbon badge panels and carbon seat hump. They should all be on in the next week or so, when they arrive. I'm also going for a red alcantara 'hot seat'

Luckily the weather looks shit... until Monday when it should be sunny.

Looks great...!

As people have said before...."Be careful..!

Now one last thing............

Repost the pics with no number plate showing (MSPaint)

Don't want to advertise to everyone where it is.....

Very nice bike......very nice..!

Great Choice on the Color!!! saw the Green 1 in person and eewwww..it was ugly!!

That sure is a great looking bike. I love the color, and (unlike most) I actually think the front end looks cool with the 2 different headlamps.

Alas, I did the BMW thing once and took it in the shorts when I sold it. I'm afraid that soured me on ever buying another. It lost half the value in 2 years (I guess that what I get for paying $16K for a bike!). I hope this model has a better fate.

Enjoy it!

one reason i didnt want this bike is because i didnt think there would be many mods available yet but i guess i was wrong. unbelievable that those are stock options, sick bike. that pipe looks big. same shape as a gixxer pipe, hopefully its not 30 pounds like the gixxers.
