I've been lurking the forums a bit and replied to a few posts, figured I should actually "introduce" myself on the forums

Have had my R6 for a little over 5 years, and had ridden this same R1 quite a few times in the last couple years. Finally got to a good financial position and was able to afford buying this R1 from my good friend. It was a little neglected maintenance wise, but she's all up to snuff now! Well, after this pending valve check/adjustment at least lol

So far I've had to:
  • replace fork seals
  • replace tires
  • replace clutch
  • fix stripped oil drain pan
  • replace brake pads
  • flush brake fluid
  • replace chain and sprockets
  • correct speedometer readings
All worth it though, she's definitely my favorite in the garage now 😁

Had a 2011 for 6 years. Such a good bike. Sold her back in April and now have a 2007. Idk how long it'll last. A few rides in and I'm already missing the power and speed of the 2011. The 07 is bone stock but the 2011 had a full akro exhaust, PC5 and tuned, so I can't expect it to compare... Not a lot of people like the Toce quad pipes, but I liked them, made the bike scream
