The entire line of bikes that were all black, raven, or carbon fiber were always my favorite. My problem is I would rather ride them than wash or even clean them!

Destin is in the panhandle between Pensacola and PanamaCity. I have the Jardine exhaust but Yosh on the R1.

I am 6-4 so I got the Vortex rear sets because I can lower them down 1 inch from the stock setting. If I do a track day I can move it up in 10 minutes. The power is hard to tell the difference up top but down low the CBR seems very strong...almost like my old 03 GSXR 1K.

im sure u will miss R1 high rpm power....thats what i experienced when i sold my 05 and bought a k6....and now come back again to R1....

Ive got that same stand but had to lose the Zuk stickers when I put a real bike on it......:fact

 

I sold the stand with the R1. Pitbull is much better than the old Suz. stand!! Worth the extra $

They are both great bikes. The CBR has more down low and the R1 more on the top. But it has been so long between bikes I have a hard time remembering how the R1 felt. If I didn't throw a rod on the R1 in the first 1k miles I might have bought another one, but that experience left a bad taste in my mouth. So far the CBR is a fun bike in the first 1300 miles!
