An article just hit on Motorcycle.com about an FIM approved track only R1 for 2023 that they say strongly suggests a new street version as well. We'll see

I didn't see them dumping the 600 market. The liter market has been shrinking and in the last 2 years, if you look at numbers, it has tanked. Hell, the folks that are buying them are putting them on the track anyhow, so why fight euro emissions and all the other slings and arrows when they can make fewer bikes for less money?

Same color from last year. Wasn't really a fan of the blue with gray at first. But it grew on me after I got my 2020, but don't really like this color. Think the gray looks better. But to each their own, right?

They canned the zinger because they said it took the same amount of labor to build the pee wee as it took to build a full bike, same excuse with the 600.

Gone are the stepping stones.

Hell, by the time my daughter can ride, 2 strokes will be completely banned, even on your own property.

I kid you not, folks out there passing legislation are anti chainsaw.

Ain't something basically wrong with that?

Yamaha makes the coolest high performance electric motors, they will make a super cool electric R1 in the future. I will buy it as long as it makes a sound that is equal or even cooler than an R1 with an Akra system..
