No start & no neutral light on dash? Need help to fix it.

The clutch switch is only useful if you want to start the bike in gear. You said that it was running and when you pulled in the clutch to take off it died ( or that is what I took in ). That would be a problem with your kickstand sending an open circuit. You should not be able to take off if computer thinks kickstand is down. Your bike would die as soon as you release the clutch if your in gear. There is a cable coming from kickstand that has a brown disconnect coupler under the gas tank. It has 2 wires . If you short these wires together the computer will think the kickstand is up and u will be able to take off. But like I said if u bypass this safety feature you better be certain ur kickstand is up or I can almost gaurentee you will take a spill.
