It could be but probably not...
Actually, there's no problem running fuel with, some what, lower octane rating but don't put a lot of load to the engine until next gas fill with the right fuel quality.
This is why:
Since those engines lack fuel quality sensor and knock sensor the EMS can't adapt for poor fuel quality.
As far as i know, up to this YM ther's no short or long term fuel trim adaptation either, (even my old saab from -99 have at least two of those systems).
Why is this bad?
Depending on engine load, temperature and other conditons, poor fuel quality could cause the engine to knock (ping) which can ruin the engine in an instant.
Since this forum have members world wide.
There's two majour scales of octane rating, MON and RON.
E,g, in the US MON is used where Premium equals an octane number of 91, but where i live RON is used and Premium equals a number of 95..
