Ok I got an idea to buy another hard drive for my pc. I want to set up a Raid 0 configuration. The Asus board I have has an on-board Raid controller so that's not a problem. also I want to set up a Raid 0 because most of the time the gamer machines run this setup.
One thing though, I want to keep my current drive, and buy an identical drive and set them up Raid 0. But, will I lose everything on the drive I have now? Or can I set it up without losing anything?
Also, how do I go about setting up a Raid config like this?
And....(sorry for all the questions)....what is the difference between a Raid 0 and a Raid 1 config: and advanatges of one or the other?
