i been looking around and i cant decide what brand to go with. I want a frame slider thats nice and tough, lookin for some quality here. :flex: I was almost set on the sato sliders till i did some research and seems people have had problems with them snapping easily.

If you guys could help me out on what brand you recommend id appreciate it.

Thanks in advance :)

Motovation. Simply the best there is for the 07-08. The brackets are a three point design, unlike others (R&G) that simply use a single mounting point. If you search a bit, you'll find many, many 07-08 owners here who have Motivation sliders and couldn't be happier with them.

BTW, make sure to get a full set, uppers and lowers.

Shogun all the way

My vote is for Harris. I did alot of research on the topic before I ordered them and they seem to have the strongest mounting point plus the solid puck design.

I wish I could give a better review than just that but Ive had mine on backorder for about 2 months now --- very frustrating.

motovation. by far. i have never seen a slider with a more solid mounting. they are more expensive, but for a slider that actually functions, its worth it. ive crashed with graves, vortex and intuitive sliders and every single one has bent. these are the first sliders ive ever had that look like they will hold up.

sweet looks like i made a good decision on placing my order for some motovation frame sliders and clutch sliders... they were kinda pricy... but the way i see it you get what you pay for.. u want quality u gatta pay for it...

they should be coming in wednesday

I've got Vortex and they held up in my crash weeks ago, no bend. I will be switching them up though for Moto or Intu's.

Mr. Ron I was looking into buying the Harris Clutch Slider and was wondering does that same Slider work on the left side as well ??? They look identical.

Never have come across the one for the left side for the 07 - 08.

Harris.

The Harris brothers made their name in endurance racing. 95% of aftermarket parts companies can't make that claim.

LSL makes very nice frame sliders for the R1. We've seen them tested on a few racebikes in the WERA paddock to good effect. We've crashed them on our own LSL-equipped GSX-R and had no issues with bend or broken hardware. All that was required was the purchase of new sliders.

You can get the slider elements in a variety of colors too.

Here is what the EXperts and I did to my bike. Look at the brackets. Sure many sliders loook clean but uhmmm can we debate this...

MOTIVATION sliders that mount to the bike in 3 places. High dollar sliders but NICE
