HADLEY - A Corinth man was killed Thursday in a motorcycle accident.

Calvin G. Howe, 64, of 364 West Maple St. was driving his 1992 Harley Davidson motorcycle north on Stony Creek Road at 3:32 p.m., when he exited the roadway and was ejected from the vehicle, according to a news release from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Howe was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is under investigation by the sheriff’s office Accident Investigations Unit. Luzerne-Hadley Fire Department and Rockwell Falls EMS assisted at the scene

Calvin was from where I live in upstate NY. Please be safe out there everyone especially around where I live. These roads are still crappy even if we do get a day above 50° once in a while.

RIP Calvin :(

we've lost a few riders to all year riding.. one very close to us 'friends' back in the day...

we were all at a pub just 2 weeks prior talking about the dangers of this, and how people
dont understand if the weather is crappy the roads are tough to deal with and on a
motorcycle you cant make super quick decisions to avoid idiots as they're already unstable.

he was riding out of a store near my old place, a jeep driver pulled into the parking lot and
whipped a Uey right back out in order to avoid waiting for a traffic light.. he did not see
the biker, and nailed him..

i have a chopper for riding in town so i can be more upright and see every idiot out there.

i refuse to ride my R1 deep into town.

sorry for your LOSS OP.. i also noticed how terrible the tar snake are this year on
one of our favourite technical roads.. it made me seriously reconsider riding it again.

road repairs obviously dont account for motorcycle riders..
