When making a purchase on the cost of mirror's you have to take into consideration on how important to your style of riding mirrors are. For example: I give a quick check to the mirror but always turn my head and give a quick look because I don't trust what I see in the mirror, no matter what the quality may be.

Edit: I use a rearview cam btw.

I totally agree with a double check. As for the mirrors, trial and error my friend, I have some "carbon fiber" mirrors I bought online, they are ok...and if anything you can use them and sale them with minimal use.

For $65.00 shipped I don't think they're going to be comparison to Rizoma's.

Worst case scenario if the quality is atrocious I will just resell it or send it back. They are coming from China.

I totally agree, I use mirrors as a guide but always double check before switching lanes, etc.

No matter what the outcome, I will post pictures of the quality after I receive them.

Tried some rizoma china knockoff and they were trash. I just wanted something to replace my somehow beat up stock mirrors. I put my stock mirrors back on.

Those look like the same ones I got off eBay. Around 75 mph they start to fold. Train tracks? They droop. I was constantly having to adjust them because of bumps and wind. They just weren't tight enough and to tighten then up you had to pop the glass out which is in there pretty good. I chipped the glass doing it.

Don't even get me started on the anodizing. They where black and within a couple weeks the practically look gold. Horrible quality on the anodizing.

i looked around (pardon pun) and did not see anything else that had the styling, ease of use/install, and really, a CLEAN install... as close to universal as we can get, ..

if y'all wanna know the truth, believe it or not, mirror's are necessary, yeah you're right, you can turn your head around... here's the real issue, it comes down to time, 3ms reaction time, thats incremental, everything you do & every time you move, takes time, your senses have to actually adjust to this, once you're aware of your surroundings, you can pretty much ride blind, or at least with minimal attention span, what this means is that in an emergency situation, not on a track though, lets be clear.... on the road, i'll be perfectly honest... i takes 2 seconds for an inattentive driver with a Van loaded full of glass windows to switch lanes without noticing the light's about to change, on the 3rd second, he's on your lane, right behind you, i've pulled out of immediate danger so many times w/out really thinking, just cause i saw the huge arse white object behind me about to do a stupid move.. :hammer:

well placed mirrors give you back your 360 degrees, on a ten tonne truck, all you have is your side view mirrors, yet we do just fine on the road... a little slower but carry a crapload of momentum, only cause we regularly check our mirrors...

i will spend a good while setting up my new mirrors, to be fair i'm cheating as im running APEX risers already :corn

but i didnt get just one on the left... i want to finally see who is on my blind spot to my right, without having to take my hand off the throttle.... savvy :fact :finger

well, not sure how a mirror is considered seeing without eyes. but when you look around every couple seconds and can map where every car is at any point, u tend to trust yourself a little more. only looking when changing lanes/passing sounds pretty ridiculous to me.
it gives you back your sight as far as i'm concerned, when you know who is around you, at a glance, in the middle
of looking through that off-camber corner and pothole, or changing lanes... confidence is key on a motorbike...

i don't personally like em, and wouldn't spend the money on rizomas. those little mirrors, and pigspotters, to me are useless. and i don't like the look with no mirrors. i use my mirrors continuously and can't imagine not having em. between mirrors, paying attention, and a quick glance out side of visor, i know where all the cars are. it was strange driving without mirrors when i tried it, felt like i had blinders on.

^^^ Agreed.

I use my mirrors all the time. At stop lights like crazy with me still in first until I see the first car completely stopped

to the op, if u do post a review there will likely be interest. people really seem to like those type of mirrors, and rizomas are stupid expensive.

DONT BUY THEM! I bought the same pair you ordered, as well as did my friend, and they are junk! The look great, but they don't stay in place at all. They need an Allen key to tighten and adjust, and the bolts always come loose. (I don't loctite them because I generally like to move my mirrors when I'm in a tuck) Also, to move them is not nearly as simple as a mirror on a pivot ball, you have to change the entire articulation of the mirror. They are just very user unfriendly mirrors. Sag, droop, swing, sigh... Ordering a new set ASAP.

good point!! :thumbup

dad bought a pair of aftermarket knock offs for his VTX, the bloody things rattled like mofos, it would
actually be better to have no mirrors, 'cause those things (buzzing), were like antennas looking for a signal from Mars!! :lol :no

i received my CRG Arrows a couple days ago... i can also say you definitely get
what you pay for... that includes the shop's head tech coming up to front of store
to show them off as we got the boxes.... fully sealed, perfectly packaged,! wow!! wow!!

so damn impressed, they are very precise, tight, and easily adjustable all at once!!

i cant wait to slap these on for good. block-offs are ready to go :thumbup

Don't listen to this guy,he will spend your money for you with the goodies he keeps buying :riding

I had the normal CRG bar end mirrors and the quality was flawless, would buy again if i was mirrorless.

yah cant'$ take it with you when you go!... :thumbup

One problem is the CNC quality, another problem is the anodizing (paint) quality. Paint tends to usually wear out fast enough on the knock offs.

#45 ·
They look good when you first pull them out but the joints where really sloppy. Way to much tolerance in the pivot joints and bolt holes. And the anodizing sucks! A couple weeks in the sun and black turned to an unatractive shade of brownish gold.

thats the key word there mate, tolerances.... very important on mirrors...
