:rock new frame is working good. I watch his interview after the FP2 and he said he likes the new frame a lot better.... let's just hope that it works for the race. I found it weird that Colin didn't get one... i guess the Dr. gets first dibs on new toys :fact

Thats funny. As much as I would like to see Nicky take the title, I think Rossi is about to let loose.
I sure hope so, but Pedrosas gonna give him a run! That little guy is fast! Can't wait to see the race on Sunday! GO ROSSI!

Yes, because he's the lead rider. They always get the latest and greatest, newest on their bike. That was John Kozinski's beef back in the early 90's. Wayne Rainey was getting the A equipment and bike designed around him, and John had to make due with the leftovers. That's the way it is in MotoGP, the A rider gets the best and the others have to wait their turn.

It is understandable that factories would do that. How much work and money does it take to make changes........got to give the shot to who is more likly to make something of it. ALSO - IF it sucks then the better rider can ride the old version.
I thought they were going to use the 2005 chassis cuz Rossi said it worked a lot better.......instead of creating a new one right away.

As for Pedrosa being a dwarf..........
In a car it is no big deal, but on bikes I think a min weight may be a good thing to make it more fair......or soon Danica Patrick will jump on a bike and show 'em.....

Hell yeah Rossi is happy, I'm happy. That little -32 cartoon is just one of the reasons Rossi is my fav...he's got a sense of humor! :D GO ROSSSSIIIIIIII! (homage to the Gailoises paint scheme). I hope he opens a serious can of whoop-ass for the LeMans race. Can't wait to see qualifying.

Colin has really stepped up too...apparently they still have some chatter but only occasionally....just wait till the chatter's gone...WOOT.

I really hope Rossi takes the lead back with a few wins (and a mixed field behind him so Nicky and Dani don't run away with it). It's gonne be a cracker of a season, either way!

Look at the size of Dani compared to Nicky!
dinky little fcuker!!!! i would love to see that formation of exhaust system on the new R1, center of the rear fairing and a slash cut in the lower fairing pan or a growler type side exhaust!! yummy!!

man rossi's a class act, and still a sense of humor even when he is on a cold streak... :lol :lol

Rossi is definitely revving up to take back some points, the Camel team is working well at Le Mans and Edwards is riding better but can't seem to push it late in the race (see also Nicky Hayden). Pedrosa is definitely a prototype racer, I doubt we'll see too many guys his size on the paddock...but who doesn't love a midget? :D I think if cirumstances allow (no crashing) Rossi will fight back and have a good battle for the championship with Nicky (who has been really consistent this year).

I'm a Rossi fan first, but I will say it would be nice to see an American win the Championship. QP is on in 30 minutes, go Rossi. :fork

Pedrosa has made it loud and clear that he is a beast. That being said, it's clear to me that his weight (or lack thereof) is an advantage. I don't see any other teams complaining, and from an engineering standpoint it doesn't seem practical to alter the bike's weight without having an impact on the handling characteristics. It's a Catch-22. Actually it's a Catch-26.

well, we will see how this race goes :) the Qp is done and rossi is starting 7th ;) which is pretty damn good compared to his other starts this year..I hope this race is a huge battle. but hope rossi comes out on top agian ;) Will be watching it live..well not as live as the people actually going though..:p:p

I think the speed channel coverage tomorrow is live, right? Just checking so I don't have to worry about spoilers on the internet. --Jerry

the rookies have proven very little IMO. You measure against the best, and Rossis bad luck has kept him out of challenging at the front which no one in the past has proven capable in fending off rossi. No sandbagging, just bad bad luck.

I disaggree 1Million% for 3 reasons.

#1. thru Rossi career, he has sucked initially whenever on a new bike. it took him time to adjust and when he did, all hell broke loose.

#2. Never a NASCAR fan but i know a few. After watching a few races and understanding stragety, drafting, ect. it made watching it more interesting than "running around an oval as fast as you can". Pit stop time, high or low banking, drafting for 'X' laps all play a part. Look, you have drivers that start at position 15 and win!:dunno

#3. because of #2. you would want your second driver to have the best also to help in the winning stragety right? I just thing that changing the frame for a single rider, especially Rossi with his record, it totally unproductive.
