Lorenzo... MASSIVE highside. That is the difference between a 250 and the 800 "premire" class. There was nothing he could do once he turned sideways. Possibly cut off a piece of his heel. YIIIKES!

Yep Motogp.com if not a member you can see some of it. It is on the front page. I am a member so I saw it all some in slomo. He got like 4 feet of air and was completely upsidedown for about 10 feel.

Updated info on Lorenzo:
A chipped bone in his left ankle and pain in that of his left side are the consequences of a huge highside onboard his Fiat Yamaha M1. His upper body braced as he took the impact on his forearms, Lorenzo?s injuries have been limited to his lower body.

Whilst he did not ride in the afternoon session, it is possible that he will return to action on Saturday morning.

I guess not. I thought it was, but I logged out and tried to view and it wouldn't let me. Sorry about that. The backend comes loose, he highsides and flies upside down across the track landing on his head. It looked painful. If he gets back on the bike this weekend major props to him.

 

unlucky kid, but he's quite a tough nut and a dam good rider. I know he can be a bit annoying with his lollypop antics, but you got to give it to him he has a good riding style and he's very quick.
