I've been looking for some events in SD as well. I know there's a bike night in Riverside on Thur. nights, but don't remember where. There's also one in the OC that's on a week night. I'm trying to strike a deal on an '05, so hopefully I will be ready to ride this week.

 

The Riverside night is on Tuesdays at Zorba's, they are also trying to start one up in Temecula on Thursday nights at Rocky Colas.

 

Right on. Thanks for the correction. Not sure why I thought it was on Thurs. nights. Temecula would be cool too. I work in Corona and live in SD so Temecula would be on my way home. I'll have to look into it.

 

Anyone rolling to Temecula tonight to Rocky Colas? Myself and lil_guy will be there! I heard they get started around 5 or 6PM. See ya there!

Rocky Colas was pretty cool last night. There were around 25-30 bikes there. Didn't see you there wldchic. What happened? Gonna roll up to Zorbas in Riverside on Tuesday night and check that out.

I think there is an event tomorrow in San Diego at Twisted MC. It's supposed to start around 12pm.

 

Don't forget to look over in the dragon squadron folder occasionally, too....

I'm thinking about starting something down in San Diego....around Rancho Bernardo. Just need to find a cool place!

Right on. Yeah, the guys said they would meet at Rocky Colas and ride up, but I'll be in Corona already. So I'm just gonna roll from there. It should be a good time.

Zorba's was awesome last night! There were around 200+ bikes there. Dyno-Dudes were there with their portable dyno for guys to test out their bikes. K&N and FMF were a couple of the vendors there. They had a biker babe contest, but it was disappointing. Zorba's is happening every Tuesday night up in Riverside.

Oh my god........can you believe the biker babe contest.....It was a shame! As soon as the chicks opened their mouths....it was over! With all those guys.....no hot chicks up there....come on! I think the winner won $500.00........count me in next time! When the one chick was asked what her favorite bike was.........she was like.....ummmmm......COME ON! Your at a bike night and don't know what you like???

 

I figured they would have more entries too! ravenR6 and I were standing up front and when the one chick with the short blonde hair was asked "If you could be anything in the world what would you be?" raven yelled out "Smart!". The chick with the boobs falling out of her shirt should have been the winner because she was into it the most, but I think they threw her out of it because of the comment she made about what she would like to be! But what can you say, she must be freaky like that.

Zorba's is on Iowa in Riverside. The other one is a bar or something. The one on Iowa is a burger joint. Good food!

Hey, I'm going to be in the San Diego area at the beginning on August and was just trying to introduce myself and maybe meet some people. I have a maroon '05 R1 and an '03 CBR F4i. Unfortunately, I will have to ship my R1 and leave the CBR here in Texas. I have some friends that ride in the SD area, but they will all be unavailable at the time. I've heard some things about the I-905 being open for motorcycle racing or something like that???? Anyhow, nice to meet ya'll and if you have a truck available to help me get my scooter, I'll buy you a beer

 

Hey, were always down to ride with someone else. I'm not sure about the 905 being open to racing, but there are some places that you can drag if you're into that. Bike nights are always fun and you can't beat the weather here in SoCal. Drop me a line when you get here and subscribe to this thread to ensure that you get updates as they come.

 

For anyone who's going up to Zorba's tonight, a few of us are meeting at the Mobil station off of the 15 and Magnolia in Corona at 6:30 and then head up from there.

 

you know I may try to make this its been awhile since I've been to Zorba's, its just not the same as it used to be. Didnt think pople started showing up there til 8 o'clock though?

 

Yeah, there's quite a few people that show up prior to 8. It runs from 7-10. Should be pretty cool.

Don't know of an owner's club anywhere in SD off the top of my head. Something worth looking into though.
