Scavenging Crank Vent to the AIS... How to

I've read some people mention routing the crank vent to the AIS system. Would I simply connect the crank vent hose to the AIS system hose that plugs to the air box?

Also, is this a worthwhile modification? I imagine it would clean out the intake air.

Thanks Blur. I know about the krankvent. I'm looking for advice about the AIS mod, since it would be free. Krankvent will likely be installed down the road, but I've got a lot of little things to take care of before investing in expensive check valves.

I've noticed oil in my airbox, so I would simply like a free method to remove the vent line while not negatively affecting performance for my daily riding. And I would prefer to remove both the AIS and Vent lines from the airbox, rather than venting the crank to the atmosphere. I had read people mention this AIS mod, but have not yet found a writeup.

There's no room for a filter except to place it on top of the case. Then the filter fills up with oil because it isn't up high enough. This will slowly leak out and go down the left side of the bike. Getting a krankvent is the best solution.

I have just ordered a Krankvent from the USA ( gonna have to take of my yamaha stickers and put made in the USA on my tank ) Also smog block offs.
Why the fcuk can't we get all the good stuff in the UK that you guys get in the US without importing it ourselves????.

Anyway Krankvent is def the way to go. You can also add a small filter to the top of the vent if you like, but you will need to get it real high away from the KC, which as said is almost impossible due to the lack of room.

The fuel tank drops down and hogs up all the space. Also after I moved the krankvent up high, right next to the left gas tank bracket without the filter, no more oil leak. :fact
