It's still undecided, but they say there will not be another structure that high or higher to replace it. The building manager once said there will most likely be four 50-story buildings instead and a monument to the victims.

 

I think that's a shame...You guy's had something to be proud of and it was destroyed by bastard terrorists...

 

True. The building manager made a good point though. He said he wouldn't be able to rent out the top floors of buildings that high. There would be too much apprehension and since that doesn't make for a conducive work environment, companies wouldn't want to be there. Many of them are moving out of the city as it is. They're moving to Long Island and Jersey.

It's a shame because those towers were built a year before I was born. I've seen those towers everyday since I can remember (unless I was out of town, which in itself was rare) and almost one year later, it still seems wierd not seeing them there. Makes me sick to my stomach :ugh, but New Yorkers still have a lot to be proud of .
