Anyone know where to get clutch sliders on both sides of the bike? I know theres only a clutch on one side but in some of the euro mags they show clutch sliders on both sides and I like the idea of having double protection down there. :p

frame sliders

:finger
i got these frame sliders from a local contact - cost - about $20 US.
they look ok ( see the pic).
I saw a chaps bike after he dropped it at high speed - and the bike came off alot better than he did. So if you been thinki about gettin them - do it - they will save you thousands in damages.

Top Blocks makes a set. Check them out at www.indysuperbikes.com. I picked up a set from them, and the quality is nice.

Use a clutch slider on the clutch side and purchase one of these trick factory pro case covers with sliders... Here is a picture of one from my bike....

Case cover

How does that cover with the slider hold up? I mean hold a tip over cause it to dent from the impact? I also wonder what touches first, the slider attachment or the bottom of the cover. That would be a money saver as my stator cover is already scratched up.

It's hard to say what will get damaged in a crash.. unless you can set up the perfect slide and that just doesn't happen all the time.... If the bike was to slide on that side at least there is two points or two sliders that it can slide on instead of one....

The black plastic hits first, it holds up well and it is less then $40 to replace (which I did for for looks only), I know from experience. I now have them on both side cases, for the piece of mind. My two contact points were the frame slider and the plastic on the case saver. The factory connection savers are nice pieces and since my stock ones were good as new, I sold them easily and was able to recoup some of the cost.
