Without including the CBR(too big)

Which of the bike feel the smallest when sitting on it?
I heard the Gixxer feel smaller than a 600SS!
I dont think the R1 is the smallest one,it feel bigger than the ZX-10R

What do you guys think?

Have three bikes in the garage:-

04 R1
05 ZX10 (brothers)
K6 gixxer thou (brothers)

The ZX10 feels the lightest, with not much between the gixxer and r1 (fully fuelled). 10 has a 17ltr tank as opposed to 18 for the other two. The K6 tank is quite bulbous like the blade, and feels physically the largest (compounded by narrow bars). The 10 feels the smallest and most compact of the three. I prefer the ergo's of the R1 though. Its certainly the most comfortable to ride. Small tank, low pegs and wider bars, just suites my 6ft 2" frame the best.

Develop cramps after a while on the 10 and gixxer, but no worries with the R1 most of the time. Just wish it had the low down grunt of the 10 and gixxer (thats the only complaint with the R1). Had a respsol blade, but that had to go, the worst ergos of any bike I have ever ridden, and a really poor finish. Not the usual Honda quality. Guess you would have to be Bruce Dunn to like the blade.

zx10 feels smaller than the r1 to me

the air intakes on the r1 go left and right of the frame while the zx10 air goes through the front

the zx10 looks heaps more economical and narrow than the r1 to me when riding, cos the nose cone doesnt have to cover the side entry air intakes

The zx10 may be a smaller bike the seat height is alot higher... Which makes the bike seem bigger IMO...

to me, in terms of weight, the R1 feels the lightest, despite the fact that it's not the lightest. Most of the weight for the R1 is more balanced between the bike, so at the handlebars, it feels lighter (hence why you'll often hear people refer to the R1 as 'flickable'). The Suzuki and ZX10 feel more top heavy, but in terms of OVERALL SIZE, the GSXR1000 feels the smallest to me. The R1 feels 'long' and the ZX feels similar to the R1. But, then again, I'm a shorter rider standing at 5'4", but the GSXR1000 feels the 'smallest' to me in terms of seat height and bike length when in a riding position.

Try sit on a K5 and tell me again... shortest wheelbase doesn't mean the bike is the smallest overall...

I'm only 5'7... the ZX-10R is the tallest one out of all R1, CBR1000, and K5 when I sit on them, probably due to the wider tank... the K5 is the only bike that I can have both feet 100% flate on the ground... and the reach is not like K4 or K1 anymore, it's much shorter now... and next is the R1...

But the K5 when you sit on it, it does "feel" the smallest... feel even smaller than a CBR600RR...

About the weight, not according to the official websites, I took those numbers from Kawasaki.ca and Suzuki.com... anyway, it's not a big deal, it's just like 4 kg difference, you won't even able to tell when you sit on them...

footpeg and handlebar placement can make a bike feel smaller or bigger.

Big Daddy is right, spec sheet, mag racing, the ZX10 is the smallest 1k.

How does a bike with bigger overall lenght and width makes the smallest 1K?
