:( Well it happened. I wrecked last week. I just got out of the hospital a few days ago. I broke my left femur completely in half. I crushed the talus in my left ankle. I broke 4 bones in my left hand. I am slowly typing this with my right hand, with much pain in my body.
My bike is totalled. I still have to pay it off. Some new kid we went riding with was sitting in the middle of the road with his lights off at 12am on a street w/ no street lights. I saw him at the last second. Back brake locked, I tried to swerve around him. My back tire hit his. I was going ~100mph. You guys dont need to reply cause I wont be on here much. It hurts too much to be out of bed. But i wil check in another time, ride safe.

Crushed talus! That's not good, you're looking at an ankle fusion surgery. Sorry to hear that. No comments on the causitive factors culminating in the crash...

get well soon bro. sorry about your accident.

Sorry to hear about the accident. I think that everyone who rides a bike feels for you right now. I really don't like threads like this and get sick to my stomach when I hear about people getting hurt doing something that they love. Get lots of rest and take it easy, you'll be back before you know it.

I don't really want to comment on how the incident occured but as a note for everyone....it's not only you riding, be curtious to, and aware of other riders in your group. Use common sense. I don't think that anyone ever wants to see any of their fellow riders or their friends get hurt.

Hope you have a speedy recovery. Going down at 100mph, must have been a nightmare, be thankful you are able to tell your story.

Damn bro, sorry to hear that. You'll pull through just fine though.:thumbup It's the here and now that sucks. Take it easy and focus on getting well. Motorcycles will be around when you get ready for them. Don't rush yourself.

Hang in there man, and don't make any rash decisions about your future. While you have a long road in front of you, I know we will see a post where you are riding again. Even if you don't decide to ride again, you can still stop in on the forum, say hello and update us on your progress.

Yeah I hope you have a full and speedy recovery. But don't tell me you wrecked a finaced bike without full coverage. Wow I know that sucks big time to still have to pay for something you don't even have anymore. But hey atleast you are alright . it could have been a lot worse.
