Hi,

i have a 09 and have changed the sprockets to -1 +2 so the speedo is over reading.

do i have to go down the speedohealer, speedodrd route?

sure i read somewhere that it was possible to calibrate the speedo using a dyno and the ecu flashing software?

thanks

i just picked up one of those suckers as well, running 15/44 on my 09 n' need to adjust, probably about 11% i'm guessing...

i'm just gonna do a comparison between dash speedo and gps at 70mph n' use that ratio as conversion

dont wanna flash this onto my ecu as i will likely go back to 15/43 in the future...

My bike is -1 front and unless people in my area drive 20-30 over the speed limit all the time mine seemed to be way high. I have never checked with a GPS, but compared it to those police radar speed signs (which I think are calibrated to read a few MPH faster) I was always between 10-18 over what it indicated.

If you aren't going to change your gearing soon or frequently, why not get your ECU flashed? You can correct the speedo and unlock the true potential of the motor at the same time.

I just sent mine in last Wednesday and should be getting it back within a few days. So I can't personally vouch for the performance of the bike yet, but I can say that I used Superbike Unlimited and their customer service was perfect. The person I talked to help me with all my questions with regards to how I wanted the ECU tuned. Everyone here seems to have nothing but good things to say about them and flashing the ECU.

$90 for 10 to 12 plug and play horsepower and all the other goodies you can have done.
