I was wondering for those who have removed your front sproket cover, have you had any issues? Are you using an aftermarket cover like graves, did you leave the chain guide for those who are running no cover at all, and if so how did you keep them in place? Just curious because i'm planning on removing mine for a little while to see how I like it. I just hope it doesn't suck my pants in.:scared

I know guys who ride without it. Never had any issues. They remove the guide, cover, and re-route the hoses. Personally I wouldn't do it because I had my pants catch my sprocket as a kid, and it freaks me out with the bike :lol

WOW, that brought back memories... that actually happened to me a few times when I was a kid too. Okay, I was just unsure of a few things, and I just wasn't sure how some guys were doing it. I love the graves one, I'll probably order it and wait the 7-10 dayish for it to come in.

BTW: I keep seeing your avatar, huge pats fan here.:ncont::rock

This topic has been addressed in previous threads, however I am planning on getting the Graves unit which requires a longer bolt :dundun: Other than that, never heard of any issues in regards to removing the sprocket cover :fact

Yeah, I don't mean to bring up topics that have been talked about a ton. I did some searching and just wanted to confirm a few things before I go and do it, and possibly hurt myself. :p I also hear they fixed the bolt issues, and that issue was only on some of the first batches... Still have to confirm that though.
