Yeah that was pretty remarkable. He got shot off that thing instantly. There was no fight involved at all. Ejected!

 

looked like he tore something on his left ankle the way he started grabbing it after he landed.

 

Fractured his third, fourth, and fifth metatarsal bones. Will spend 10 days immobilized in a cast. They say he'll be able to race August 17th in Brno, though.

 

Bet that hurt.... dude can fly pretty good. He needs to work on his landings!

He's a rookie. I can't understand why he's trying so hard to win races. He should just try learning from his competitors and learning the bike. Then, in his second year push it up a notch or two.

I give him props for strapping his foot to the rear set and racing in china. He always pushes it to the limit and thats the kind of racing I like watching. He seems to be making a lot of podiums on his rookie year so he must have done something right.

 

we were sitting at turn 5. he ended up directly in front of us. pretty amazing. glad he was relatively ok. the photog that was next to us got some sweet pics.

 

I give him credit, he certianly has that position down!
