Just wondering what you guys thought I should be running on my bike...

I'm about 240 with gear. I have Racetech Fork Springs and an Elka 3-way shock.

The rear feels good, but the front does not. Right now I have it very soft since I was going to play with it. What settings should I be running up front. What I've seen here on the forum thus far are settings for riders under 200lbs..

Thanks.

Try these settings....

Preload ...4 lines showing

Compression....5 clicks out from fully in(ie 5 back anti-clockwise from fully clockwise)

Rebound ....3 clicks out from fully in.

When you turn each in to the fully in position count how many clicks so you can at least go back to what you begn with.

only testing them will you know. :fact

Then if it didn't work send them back and getting softer springs shouldn't be a problem. Give Lindemann a call in Campbell, CA. Jim will hook you up with what you'll need. :thumbup

Are you riding on the road? If you are then the best thing to do is try and match the front to the back, this is the really important thing. If you like the feel of the back then stand by the bike and push down hard on the tank near the filler, the front and back should go down together and the front come up a little quicker.
Rebound - You want the front to return fairly smartly when you come off the brakes but not overshoot.
Compression - You want it compliant (soft) enough to soak up the bumps but not stiff enough to get harsh.
