G'day everyone!

Have been told that I need to fit these on my track bike. Has anyone fitted one of these things or has any info on where I can buy one? This is for an '05 R1.

Pics or links would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

:)

Thanks guys.

What's available seems to be more for swingarms which are braced on top. As you know the 04/05/06 R1 swingarm bracing is on the underside so the guard for that will have to be more specific.

Will keep looking...:p

Sorry, very diplomatic way of telling me I'm a numpty..

Looking at it I think someone is telling you rubbish as with the shape of the swingarm it is kind of creating it's own toe-guard..

The whole idea is if you come off you won't get your boot (or anything else) stuck in between the rear chain and sprocket..

Hey Red.. that's coming from the back peddling incident with the White Van in France.. I can just SEE that in my mind, what a nightmare and you on the downward slope too, no chance :scared

Yep what a nightmare that was and I have to take some blame I suppose for getting too close and assuming that he knew that I was there!! I was trying to get past him and he was driving too fast and agressively for me to get past safely and I was maybe going a little faster than was wise for the road, when I got round the turn he stopped suddenly and I had to pull off an emergency stop on a downhill slope on heavy potmarked tarmac!! Not ideal and so when I stopped I was too close to get out the way when he reversed . Anyway at least that's what I want to think as the alternative is that I could have done nothing to help my situation and therefore it could happen again with even worse consequences :crash

I haven't tried out the BST wheels yet. I'll get out on them for the first time on Tuesday. :thumbup
