Though a lot of work went into the paint on that bike...it's by far NOT the coolest R1 i've ever seen. But if you are into the bling, stretched unridable type bikes...rock on.

well the paint work is done well....but the parts are nothing too impressive. i mean blingy ebay parts aren't too impressive now are they?

Bogie took pics of that bike when he was at the Novi bike show last week if you want to see more detailed closeup pics of the paint. Awesome detailed paint work but not the coolest R1 I've ever seen even if you just compare it to bikes in it's same class. I can definitely appreciate the talent it takes to put together a nice stretched custom bling bike and enjoy looking at them but unfortunately that's all their good for.

Edit: correction, Novi show.

I believe that was the Novi show.

Even after all the years I've spent on the R1 Forum it still surprises me that many bike riders and enthusiasts on this site can't appreciate a stretched custom show bike for what it is. If Spiderman SS posted one of his show bikes I guarantee I wouldn't be reading all the negative posts I'm seeing here.:fact As I said in my previous post, it's not the best looking show bike I've ever seen but it is a pretty sweet one.:thumbup

Ok lets get a few things straight here:

1. He started a thread, posted pics and his opinion. So now people are allowed to post how they feel about the bike. :fact

2. He posted a thread that stated the Coolest R1 not the Coolest Show Bike R1 on a forum where people use the bike for anything from trackdays, daily commuter, tourer, weekend toy and yes to slam and stretch for show. It is not surprising that you will get a wide variety of comments and opinions. :fact

3. I have seen this bike up close. Alot of work went into the paint on that Aztec theme. I have seen Shane's Yamaha tribute bike upclose and as it was handed over to Yamaha. It is still one of the nicest streched and slammed bikes I have seen based on the style and one off paint that was used. I can appreciate the work in both these bikes and can't imagine how many hours were put into them but I myself would not own one. This is not insulting to these bikes in anyway. :fact
