I bought a Vacuum gauge from an auto parts store and hooked it up, pluged throttle body 1,2 and 4 and hooked up gauge to 3, let the bike run at normal idle and the gauge fluters violently ....does this mean anything or do I have a bad gauge or it's not restricted enuff? do I need a designated gauge for MC's ....any ideas ?

the gauge will fluctuate quite a bit but I don't see how your gonna synch them with only 1 tube at a time.
you can get one made for a bike for under 100.00 so why not just go that route & save yourself a lot of hassle.

maybe someone in your area already has one you could use? where are you located?

I have a manometer/ you set the throttle bodie 3 with a vacuum gauge to spec then you sync the 1,2 and 4 too 3 with the manometer.....and if the vacuum gauge was flutering a little I could read it but I do believe I said it fluter's VIOLENTLY so I can not read it.......

Yep perfect sense, thanks neenaw

then I guess I can't help you.

I just use a vacuum (mercury) gauge that's made specifically for this purpose & I don't have any of your VIOLENT problems.
Ok I'm assuming your bent cuz I capted VIOLENT (i could be wrong) I had no intention other then violent as in I can't read it.....also this mercury filled gauge your taking about is called a manometer and before you use the manometer you need a vacuum pressure gauge to set the number 3 throttle bodie ,then you use the manometer witch is hooked up to all 4 vacuum lines and set them all to the number 3 throttle body.....I am quoting straight out of the repair manual and talking with others on here in cluding Neenaw it has been concluded that I need to restrict the air more then it is now...but seriously I appericate you trying to help me I truely do.....and like I said my intentions were good

He had to do that because me messed around with #3 adjustment. So he was trying to get it back to factory specs.

I agree... normally you just need to set them so they are all the same (which can only be done correctly with all 4 TBs hooked up together.
