Valve keeper bout to come out, help

Long story short buddy wrecked my bike, frame slider cracked the head, bought a used head he installed it, got it back with a misfire. After compression test #4 barely had 5psi pulled valve cover had no valve clearance, pulled the intake came and found one of the valve keepers about to fall out. Is there a valve spring compressor tool I can buy that compresses it without pulling the head like pressurize the cylinder and bolt it somewhere, or any other ideas? Thanks

Would add a pic of it but new to this site and not sure how to from my phone

Make sure your head does not have the dreaded valve guide problem...if thats ok bring #4 on compession, put small rope/string through spark plug hole, turn engine string/rope will hold valves in place. Remove the cams.. But you will need a tool, or make one to compress the valve spring.
Thinking about this..the valve shim must have moved from the valve stem to the valve collar before installing the head, causing the keepers to come out

Personally, I would take the time and just pull the head off and make sure it's done right. But, pulling the intake cam out with the head on is tedious, but doable. What I'm not sure about is compressing the valve spring with the engine in the frame.

And then kick your buddy in the nuts. He'll understand.

Well I took an 18mm deep socket and cut a window out of it and pressurized the cylinder with air and took a prybar and pry'd down on the socket while a buddy pushed the keeper back in with a screw driver. Actually worked pretty good. Checked and adjusted valve clearances timed it and put it back together. Got 10 miles on it so far runs like I remembered it did. Thanks for the help though I appreciate it, hopefully I won't need anymore if ya know what I mean.
