Yeah bar ends help...ive had driven gel grips but I wouldn't say it was all that noticeable in comfort....ur bike vibrating that bad or u just getting dead hand?

no my bike isnt vibrating that much. just wondering how much decent barends help and whats a good comfortable grip.. i figure im just getting dead hand i guess. looking to make it a little more comfortable anyway i can.

The Renthal dual layer grips are thicker and reduce vibration. They come in three compounds, and they're about $15-17 :thumbup

I've only been for a quick squirt with my dual compound renthals, but they feel very, very nice :sneaky

I use pro taper motocross grips on my baby. Find them to be a bit more softer

 

I find that a slightly heavier bar end cuts down on the vibration a bit.

 

heavier bar adds more weight which makes the vibration travel less. and as for grips. im running driven d3 grips. the help but then again im not complaining

 

Take your wait off your arms and use your hips, legs, back and abs to support you on the bike.

 

Good suggestion but some of us just get numb for no reason. My last bike I put on the throttle mister because of the numbness I get when in the same position for too long. I'm probably going to get it for my 06 too when I get the :dollar's
