Hi guys, have any of you used the rear stands that can be ordered through the Yamaha site (Harris, Factory Race or Super Sport Team)? Any feedback on these stands would be greatly appreciated. Also any feedback on the genuine Yamaha spools would be great too.

Thanks for your time.

of the 3 you posted the Harris is the best by far :thumbup

Pitbull front and rear. The rear is the SS that can be used with or without spools.

I HAD a Vortex rear stand and it was a nice piece too but sold it to a friend.

I bought my Pitbulls used and got a great deal on them.

You probably spent $10K+ on your bike... don't skimp out on the stand... BUY PITBULL!!! :fact

Exactly. Why people do this is beyond me. Or they'll say "I just spent $10+K on my bike, I don't have the money for a Pit Bull." Oh yeah? Well maybe you shouldn't have purchased the bike in the first place if you're so strapped for cash.

Come on people, why risk a $10+K bike to a set of inferior stands? A set of Pit Bull stands will outlast your bike.

Man, i was trying so hard not to get sucked in. I agree with Mad German to a degree. For some one that had to save and their R1 means alot to them, that is perfect logic, I am that way with my chopper. But my R1 is my toy, I bought it so that I could ride it like I stole it through some beautiful Italian, Austria, and German mountains. It was cheap, I know I wouldn't ride as hard on a new Buell or Ducati.

Pitbulls look pretty bad ass, but I only want to lift a bike, not a Mac truck. I bought my T-rex's under advisement of some trusted riding bro's and i am happy with them.
