High Mount Hindle

 

Well I cant even come close to a good pic like Sandman R1 , which thank you by the way , but can attest to Hindles , they rule on the One !

I get complemented on my system all the time. It sounds REALLY good idling to redline. It's just something kinda different. Performance wise it's not the worst nor is it the best. You can retain your passenger footpegs if you want, or you can take them off like I did. And no, I have no problems with my heel hitting the piping.

 

Issues with high mounts that u may want to check out are wether or not u can keep the passenger pegs and if the mid pipe will get in the way of your foot.

 

Yoshi Tri-oval CF Slipon. Sounds :boobies at high revs and rumbles pretty good at low RPMs.

I have seen and heard the Micron highmounts, I like em plus they are affordable. I personally keep the stock muffler as long as I can. It's quiet, and cops don't hear me wheeliying as much. But I just laid my bike down on Sunday and the pipe and frame sliders took all the damage so it's time for a new pipe. I wish there was a sweet looking highmount that offered better performance with no sound increase...

 

I've got a Two Bros. C2 small oval carbon fiber high-mount on my '02 - and I love it!!! :thumbup

Arata. I was 100% happy with the system and still am about 80% due to a gap I found in one of the welds in the collector. I posted in the Mech section if you care to read.

Best sounding exhaust I've ever heard and I get complemented on it all the time..

I had one problem where they left a hook off the can where you connect the spring to to connect the midpipe to the can..but it's not that big of a deal and I still have no regrets buying it..

 

I wish there was a sweet looking highmount that offered better performance with no sound increase...

The Scorpion is close to that. It's louder than a stock pipe, but
not near the noise of others. Just a nice sweet mellow tone.
The dyno chart that comes with the pipe for a '02/03 R1 says
it puts out 141.9 HP. Yeah, I know it's their pipe and their dyno
chart, but take it for what it's worth. I've got the high mount
carbon fiber race can and love it. Scorpion, like Akrapovic and
some of the others spend the money on R&D when a new
updated bike comes out. Everyone has a favorite pipe, so just
pick one of the better brands.

Haha, I think you need a new photographer.. Try to get the whole bike in the pic

For reccomendations on a digi cam..You should get the minolta Dimage F100. I picked it up for $250 shipped on ebay and the pics are EXCELLENT..
