you can get alitte more inexpensive one.. like the toby or the hyperpro...

my advice is spend the little bit more and buy the ohlins.. you wont be sorry..

Isn’t there a GPS or GPRS rotor style damper?

dampners

i have a 01 r1 and i just installed a hyperpro, and its awesome,i checked out the scotts dampner there both awesome , but i went with the hyperpro because i like to see the mechanics of the part, the scott's is self contained and you can't actually see it work, it's all about preference, both awesome dampners and damm well worth the money:fork :riding

I have owned 2 Dampers for my R1's. I had a Matris M3-Pro Edition on my 2002 R1 and a Ohlins with Ohlins Mount on my 2003 R1. The quality of both were great, but I prefered the feel of the Matris (which really surprised me) I think the package was cleaner and the feel of the Matris was smoother. I liked the Matris so much, that I sold my Ohins and purchased another Matris.

The Matris does not have as wide of a distribution as Ohlins, so pretty much everyone that carries them sells them for the same price, $390.
