I have Michelin Pilot Powers on my 04 R1. Do you guys run the 36 psi front and 42 psi rear like the factory sticker says? Or should I do different? Both tires say 42psi max when cold.

I run 33 front /35 back. A well discussed topic here. Lots of different folks are going to tell you something different, but they are all slower than me. :flex:
The higher pressures will give you better tire wear, but it's not so good for traction when it comes to curvy roads. What type of riding do you do and do you usually have a passenger on the back?
No passengers usually. I do mostly just riding back roads not pushing it too hard but like to be able to when I want to. Sort of a mix of all riding. Some highway some back roads. I am running 36psi front and 39psi rear right now and it seems to do okay so far.
I generally ran 32 front 30-32 rear on the road with the PP's. It's low but I liked it with those tyres. When they let go they give no warning, having the pressures lower slowed down the slide.
