After my car being broken into and all of my gear getting stolen (yeah I know...), I decided to get a new helmet and I'm just curious what you other 15+ R1 riders are using to protect your noggin's.

I just ordered it a few days ago so it should be here soon, I went with the Bell Star in Pace Red/Black, reminds me of something from Tron.

$415 out the door, DOT, ECE 22.05 and Snell M2015 certified.

Crashed with my Shoei RF1100 couple days ago. Soooooo I ordered the new Pista GP-R from ChampionHelmets.com. I've heard nothing but good stuff. My buddy have like 2-3 AGV helmet from them and they are all legit. It came out to only $719 with a mirrored visor also....

If anyone have any input on championHelmets.com please chime in.

LOL do you think the 2015+ guys care more about their noggins?

I only have a 2013 panigale 1199 but my head is numero uno. Ive always had Arais and just got the agv pista gp(havent rode with it yet but the padding is almost as nice as the Arais). I was actually going to get the Bell race star roland sands but no one had the bells in stock to try on so i had to abort. Its supposed to be an amazing helmet brand though.

Hopefully they're legit because im about to place an order for the gp r and 2 visors. Those prices are insane. If it works out i owe you a 12 pack:drink:
edit: just placed the order and with 2 extra visors it still came in way less than buying local

Aesthetically, my favorite R1 ever. Love it.

My race helmet is the Shoei X-Fourteen. Honestly the most comfortable helmet I have ever owned. Better than the top of the line AGV Pista GP. I'm not a fan of the replica colors it comes in so I got the basic mat black. Super comfortable and the interior is plush. I have tried the latest Bell's and didn't find them that comfortable. Arai is over rated. I know I'll take a lot of heat for saying it but their design is standing still in the past. I used to race them but have since moved on.

edit ( I keep looking at those marvelous fun-bags. Thanks Kevap)

Bloody photobucket is making every forum suck with its ludicrous ripoff subscription.
Schuberth helmets are supposed to be amazing from what i hear but they just dont have the following like the other brands so theres never much talk about them. Helmets are probably the hardest thing to recommend because it all comes down to how it fits. Ive always wanted the shoei daijairo rep but when i finally went to get it there was no way that helmet was fitting me.
I hear excellent things about Schuberth, if it fits you definitely have to try it.

AND, I hate all of you who can wear an Arai Corsair and the AGV Pista/Corsa.

The x14 is supposed to be an amazing helmet and now im curious to try the interior. I dont have any seat time with my pista gp but it does feel almost as nice as the arais so the x14 must be pretty amazing.
