I hit both brakes hard, while the front one i was smart enough not to panic and crash in front of her i was still going too fast so while applying more pressure in the back it locked on me.

I only been riding for about a year, so I'm no pro. At least I didnt go down

Get some kneepads it'll help you go down atleast that is what sabian says

Yup, this year, i put her back on the road to commute to work, and even then I don't do it very often, for this reason.
