Like where your crock goes or for your knees? Crotch area is a speedmetal clear large and for the sides is a stompgrip clear. I did a review on it.

Just noticed this is in the 15 r1 forum. Maybe this still applies?

 

on my M, I went with a clear one.

 

I got the clear Stomp Grip.

 

Tankslapper clear 3m, top and sides.

 

Not a 15 but Stomp Grip all over.

I hate when the tank protector doesn't match the traction pads…

 

Nothing.

 

I had a clear tank pad.. with time all those clear ones start turning yellowish. So I swapped out for a techspec snake skin one.

 

We use TechSpec, on our track bike and our street bikes...

Clear two piece Pro Grip and clear Stomp Grips. You can kind of see in the one picture how my jacket has eaten up the Pro grip down low. I put it on before I had even ridden the bike :riding

 

Nothing for tank protection. No issues in 6000km. Frankly I used to use them but to be honest I'm not worried

I'd like someone to come out with a decent real carbon fiber tank protector. My leathers have rubbed a pretty decent spot at the base of my tank unfortunately. Even cleaning it after rides and waxing.

 

Get the clear Pro Grip. My leathers have done to the same, but the protector has taken the beating not the paint

Geelong Carbon Craft CF tank pad (twill). GCC decal comes off which is what I have done. This is a good alternative to Clever Wolf Racing and cost less too.
