I will keep you posted. I know the guy and the bike is cool no need to check the title and the frame and forks are fine. I have been good freinds with the guy for 10yrs.

He had a dog dart out at him he got scared and dumped the bike at about 20mph. Now he wont ride any more. :2bitchsla

954 has waaaayy to much power for stunt riding, I have one, and I have an f4i as well. Freeway shit, around town first gear too I ride my 954 but stuntriding, real stuntriding, 600s are where its at. I did a whole loooong write up about just this question

I'm a total newbie when it comes to stunting, but I'll embarrass myself by asking. :dunno Why doesn't the R1 make a good stunt bike?

 

people say it has too much power... which is good for wheelies, but all the other stunts are easier to do with a lighter bike...people say the ninja 636 i believe is good balanced stunt bike... i got on my friend's ninja and did the nicest indo on the first try... it wasnt broken in so i didnt try any wheelies.

Higher BP. R-1-s are designed to race and keep the front tire down. You can stunt them and many do but the GSXR's seem to have a lower balance poitnt and the CBR's came out with FI pretty early ( 12's) and are hard to break.

Some of the most popular stunters rock 954s. when geared, a 180hp bike will perform like a geared 600.

stick with a honda, f4 or f4i, older honda f series are good too. suzukis are junk for stunting and the yzf 750 would be gaaabbagge 2.

 

thats why all the big name stunters are ditching their Gix 1000 and their 929/954 for F4i and zx6r...

 

Are the gear box on the 954 pretty good? I'm thinking about getting one. Just paranoid about gearboxes

I think that the response of a 1000 is to much for slow stunts, when I want to do a slow wheily I just pick it up with the clutch and as soon as the nose is up I change to 3rd gear, when the it's streight up I move to 4th just to avoid the fast response of an r1 I rode my friends f4i it was awesome for wheelies & stoppies indo's everything I think the positioning & the balance point are lovely on the 600 's any way all great bikes

i could rock out on my 99 r1 all stock sprockets and bust all the shit i bust on my f4i, including circles with minimum clutch slipage. please dont get it twisted:bow

i stunt a f4i too. and i wouldnt traded for the world,but i can also hop on just about anything else, and kill it too including my 05 r1.


there are plenty of plp rocking new geared 1000s like 600s dont hate congradulate


different strokes for different folks but a real stunter is 100% well rounded.

 

yes, I was proving a point over there and I'll do it here too, lets have fun, because you're as good as you say you are, and smart enough to say a geared 1000 is like a 600 and not twitchy as shit, because I'm a "squid" and I must not be able to do anything, post a pic of your riding ability, if I cant match it more power to you, but you're calling the wrong man a squid, I'm just trying to help people make the right choice when it comes to bikes, so game on, get to it....
