I'd have to say it was a 1970 bsa rocket it was wierd shifter and brake were reverce from jap bikes and the sterring dampner was a knob on the center of the triple clamp :) . you had to "tickle" the carbs to get it to start but for it's time it was pretty advanced.

Every bike I've owned has had it's own qualities I loved about it. My 01 RC51 was torquey and sounded awesome, but the 02 R1 I got after my friend wrecked the RC (don't let friends borrow your bikes!) is hands down my favorite. Used to be all about Honda until the new R1's came out...now I've turned to the darkside. :bow

Please ignore the broken down POS cage in the background. I now have a new hauler. Back to the Bowtie I went.

It wasn't a streetbike, but at one of the the local off road riding areas, I rode a Banshee that was bored and stroked to a 660 and had power valve cylinders. It would wheelie every gear with no traction in the sand. It was defintely an excercise in throttle control, but was fun as hell!

The best is my 02 Liquid silver.

The next best is my buds 1470 Busa.
235 at the wheel + a 60 shot. It accelerates quite nicely.:ye

May surprise you,
Kawasaki Police KZ 1000!
Why? you ask.
Because thats the bike I spent most of my previous motorcop career on. Think about it, getting to ignore red lights, run any speed ya want as long as you are responding to an emergency, sick traffic splitting, etc all perfectly legal!!!!!!!
I do miss those days sometimes!:thumbup

R7 I belive the same on extremer1 rider road. I got to ride it for a 25 mile ride, but I got to ring its neck. Seat is hard as a rock. Suspension is to hard for street riding (read tank slappers) the gear is so close together it didnt matter what gear you where in, oh and 1st gear is twice as tall as a RC51 (read taking off in r1's 3rd gear) It was under powered compared to the R1. But for an all out exotic it is that indeed!!!! If it was my street bike I would soften up the suspension, gear it down a lot and put more juice into it....:rock

a moto guzi v7 sport

i was 18, in the mountains and it was my first ride on a true sportbike, i smiled for like a month after that, kept bugging my dad to let me ride it again, i had a 71 cb750 at the time, what a beast that was, it was tuned by feracci, yep that feracci, he used to tune cb750's for dragracing back in the day, he worked at a little local shop . but the guzzi was too cool , every time you twist the throttle it leans over from the torque of the motor, lol, now i would think it was a tractor but at the time it was pure nirvana

I once rode a custom chopper with a chevy 350ci motor. Only a trip around the block but im sure it woulda pulled a wheelie easily. the entire exhaust system was only about 1 1/2 ft on each side so it was ungodly loud
