Damper for me

 

Not really a mod but I would throw on some frame sliders.

 

Full pipe , Rear sets, engine covers, frame sliders, power commander, speed shifter, dunlop D209GP.

 

i cant believe a 1000cc bike does not come standard with a damper...find that amazing....i would say eliminator kit if there gonna have a mud flap on rear end

 

I thought this r1 did come with a damper am i wrong? If i am then i will buy that with the rear sets. Im not too curious about the full exhaust. I think the power will be more than enough for me.

 

It does come with a damper it is installed similiar to the gsxrs damper

First thing I'd do is change the Carbs from being closed to fully open........

No R1 comes with a factory damper,except for the 04 coming out.

 

For me its gonna be the fender eliminator, followed by exhaust (either scorched micron high mount or devil shotgun highmount), steering dampener, flush mounts, then alarm. After that ?!?!?!

 

Frzme sliders and flush mounts/fender eliminator, then a pipe, then possibly a steering damper if the stock one sucks like the Gixxer's, then seat cowl and other stuff.

 

Fender kit & signals tank protector (once it scracthed) then exh. , pc III. I better stop :yesnod :hellobye

 

for me, it's probably gonna be an Ohlins or Penske out back along with a fork job(probably Traxxion) on the front...then probably braided lines, damper and then hopefully and Arata or Akra slip-ons....

 

the first 15 minutes I have mine, Im painting the windscreen, removing the rear fender and putting the plate up under the seat, removing the mirrors.

hopefully someone will come out with a titanium piece that will replace the catalyst. Ill also have frame sliders as soon as someone makes a set

Ill wait a few weeks and see what the exhaust mfgs come up with before buying a full system

 

right off the bat gonna hit the forks, like QuikMike traxxion will prolly do them, maybe LE. I'll get an akra or arata full system when it comes out, PC3R with that as well....other than that rubber, rubber, rubber, cause i'm gonna be riding the piss oughta this bike!

Oh, a penske will be in the works too, as soon as one comes out

 

First thing I'm doing is adding some smashed bugs to the windscreen and at the same time will probably pepper the undertail with dirt!!!

 

Remove the rear fender and fit the number plate to a swing up bracket. Fit some indicaters to the tailpiece.

Why are you guys talking about forks and shocks when you haven't even ridden it yet?

 

Where are you seeing exhausts for the new one?

 

piss the rear fender off,tinted screen,nickel plate the wheels,check the new pipes out later+ a shit load of things on the way just keep spending my pay on the thing!!!!

Go with a steering damper and frame sliders. trust me!!

 

for me it will be graves air box and stacks, k&N filter, akrapovic race system, and PCIII, done all at the same time then off to the dyno.
