How did this work out for you? Was it possible? If so what did you need?

 

I got the front done but I haven't done the rear wheel yet, I found what looks like some really good info in 00-01 mechanical help, try searching "Adapting 5 spoke 2005 R1 wheels to 2000 R1" I plan to tackle the rear as soon as I can but at the moment I'm replacing my entire electrical system and most of my cooling system before the really nice riding weather gets here. If you end up doing the rear let me know how it comes out, good luck and ride on!

How far north? Furthest I go is tomales these days. Long rides tire me out!
