Anyone know where I can get some of the tricky tape they use on the trailing edge of rims....Specifically, like Rossi's MotoGP bike has in the flourescent yellow?

Pep Boys carries stripping tape for around $6.00. Tape works will charge you $30.00 for thier stuff. It's hard to get on strait. I've taken the wheels off and tried everything and still can't get them perfect. And I've seen them on bikes perfect. Don't know how in the hell people do it. Someone tell me how they get the rim stripping on perfect?

Patience!!! When I was little I used to see how quick I could build a model. Forget about the details, just get it built. I sure can take the bike apart quick though, but get owned by the rim tape.

Just installed some rim trim on my friends '04 R6.

Removing the wheel does make this much easier.

So does having a hair dryer and a helping hand.

While installing it try you bes tto do it continuously and smoothly.
The more times you stop, the more uneven spots you'll end up with.
